Two years ago, Tradition Elementary was rated an F. Principal Karen Kopeck's team had just joined The Holdsworth Center's Campus Leadership Program. Holdsworth didn't tell them what to fix. It gave them the tools and mindsets to find their own solutions.
Kopeck's team learned to look at data and listen to what their students were telling them, get to the root of what wasn't working, and build and test different strategies until they found something that moved the needle.
The result: in one year, Tradition Elementary’s state rating moved from an F to a B.
